Data Analyst - customer trends (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Beacon Water Authority and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on pipe repairs. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
