Data Analyst - customer trends (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Juniper Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Jacksonville design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in ridership counts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
