Data Analyst - customer trends (Jackson, MS)

Fernwood Clear Telecom is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer tickets. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
