Data Analyst - customer trends (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for meter reading, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 149 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in meter reading and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on treatment plant data.
