Data Analyst - customer trends (Indianapolis, IN)

Nova Vale Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Indianapolis. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 362 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Investigate trends in water quality and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
