Data Analyst - customer trends (Houston, TX)

Summit Union Hospitality Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in housekeeping schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on group events. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
