Data Analyst - customer trends (Houston, TX)

Nova North Markets is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in promotions and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on shrink and waste. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
