Data Analyst - customer trends (Houston, TX)

Summit Oak Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work closely with regulators and communities. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in outage response and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on hardship programmes.
