Data Analyst - customer trends (Houston, TX)

Clearpath Pine Construction is a Houston contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 301 people based in Houston. What you will do • Investigate trends in change orders and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
