Data Analyst - customer trends (Houston, TX)

Redstone Amber Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Houston, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in enrolment and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on tuition and subsidies. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
