Data Analyst - customer trends (Honolulu, HI)

Amberfield Stone Freight is a Honolulu logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 663 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on dock schedules. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Honolulu. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
