Data Analyst - customer trends (Hartford, CT)

Stonegate Bridge Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for proof of delivery, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on customer tracking. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
