Data Analyst - customer trends (Hartford, CT)

Fernwood Yarrow Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Hartford focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in billing accounts and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on field visits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
