Data Analyst - customer trends (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Pine Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Hartford, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in treatment plant data and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on meter reading. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
