Data Analyst - customer trends (Hartford, CT)

Bright Harbor Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Hartford with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in weigh tickets and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
