Data Analyst - customer trends (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Ivory Banking Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for branch operations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Investigate trends in branch operations and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on deposit accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
