Data Analyst - customer trends (Grand Rapids, MI)

Northwind Umber Legal Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for billing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in billing records and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on document review. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
