Data Analyst - customer trends (Fresno, CA)

Northwind Cobalt Insurance Group is an insurance company in Fresno with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
