Data Analyst - customer trends (Fresno, CA)

Northwind Ridge Insurance is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for premium billing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 797 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on customer complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
