Data Analyst - customer trends (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Nova Fox Construction Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 137 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in permits and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
