Data Analyst - customer trends (Fresno, CA)

Nova Harbor Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for budget submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in budget submissions and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on permits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno. • We reply to every applicant.
