Data Analyst - customer trends (El Paso, TX)

Lumen Quarry Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in El Paso working with agencies and riders, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on fare systems. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
