Data Analyst - customer trends (El Paso, TX)

Lumen Birch Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in El Paso working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 63 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in ridership counts and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on accessibility audits. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
