Data Analyst - customer trends (El Paso, TX)

Amberfield West Legal Group provides legal services in El Paso across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in billing records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on court deadlines. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
