Data Analyst - customer trends (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield North Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Detroit, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in family communication and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on licensing records. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
