Data Analyst - customer trends (Detroit, MI)

Nova Hollow Freight is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in loads and lanes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
