Data Analyst - customer trends (Detroit, MI)

Foxglove Meridian Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Detroit, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 56 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service connections. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
