Data Analyst - customer trends (Denver, CO)

We are growing our team at Summit Beacon Water Authority and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Investigate trends in capital projects and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on billing accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Denver. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
