Data Analyst - customer trends (Dallas, TX)

Fernwood Harbor Energy is an energy provider in Dallas focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 384 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on usage data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
