Data Analyst - customer trends (Dallas, TX)

Harborlight Meridian Civic Services is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for public records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Investigate trends in public records and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on constituent requests. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
