Data Analyst - customer trends (Dallas, TX)

Summit Beacon Markets Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for store inventory, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in store inventory and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on promotions. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
