Data Analyst - customer trends (Columbus, OH)

Foxglove Stone Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for billing disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in billing disputes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on usage data. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
