Data Analyst - customer trends (Columbus, OH)

Amberfield West Transit Planning is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 139 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Investigate trends in survey data and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on fare systems. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
