Data Analyst - customer trends (Chicago, IL)

Highbridge Meridian Energy is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for hardship programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 374 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in hardship programmes and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on meter readings. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
