Data Analyst - customer trends (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Lantern Medical is a Chicago company producing monitoring and surgical equipment, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Investigate trends in clinical evaluations and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on production lots. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
