Data Analyst - customer trends (Charlotte, NC)

Greenridge Mill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Charlotte design routes and schedules. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in route schedules and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on survey data. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
