Data Analyst - customer trends (Charlotte, NC)

Silverline Amber Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Charlotte. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in claims and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on policy renewals. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
