Data Analyst - customer trends (Charleston, SC)

Ironwood Sparrow Banking Services is a regional lender in Charleston with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 89 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in card disputes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on deposit accounts. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
