Data Analyst - customer trends (Charleston, SC)

Silverline Field Markets serves neighbourhoods around Charleston with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Investigate trends in online orders and explain what is driving them. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
