Data Analyst - customer trends (Charleston, SC)

Amberfield Timber Property Management Group is a Charleston property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 875 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Experience with data on vendor invoices. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
