Data Analyst - customer trends (Charleston, SC)

Highbridge Fern Banking Services Group is a regional lender in Charleston with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in account openings and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Experience with data on loan files. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
