Data Analyst - customer trends (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Linden Foods Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in sanitation schedules and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Experience with data on cold storage. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
