Data Analyst - customer trends (Buffalo, NY)

Greenridge Beacon Manufacturing Partners is a Buffalo manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a large organisation of about 939 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in customer orders and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
