Data Analyst - customer trends (Buffalo, NY)

Harborlight Willow Property Management is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for unit turnovers, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Investigate trends in unit turnovers and explain what is driving them. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on rent collection. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
