Data Analyst - customer trends (Buffalo, NY)

Bright Sable Financial is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for payment disputes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in payment disputes and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
