Data Analyst - customer trends (Boise, ID)

Harborlight Fox Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Boise. We are hiring a Data Analyst to take on customer trends. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Investigate trends in premium billing and explain what is driving them. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
