Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Redstone River Auto Group and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in customer estimates and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on service appointments. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
