Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Cobalt Auto Group is a Birmingham company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Data Analyst to lead our customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 184 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Investigate trends in service appointments and explain what is driving them. • Build dashboards that managers actually open every week. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Experience with data on warranty claims. • Python or R for analysis. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
