Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

Clearpath Birch Transit Planning Group is looking for a Data Analyst. The job centres on customer trends for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in survey data and explain what is driving them. • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on ridership counts. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
