Data Analyst - customer trends (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Rowan Hospitality and adding a Data Analyst whose main responsibility will be customer trends. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Answer ad-hoc questions with a short written summary, not a data dump. • Recommend changes and measure whether they worked. • Pull and clean data from several systems into one trustworthy dataset. • Document definitions so numbers mean the same thing everywhere. • Investigate trends in guest bookings and explain what is driving them. What we are looking for • The habit of checking a surprising number before presenting it. • Strong SQL and spreadsheet skills. • Clear writing. • Experience with a BI tool such as Power BI or Tableau. Nice to have • Python or R for analysis. • Experience with data on housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
